UPAAS Scholar Christine Nicole C. Milca Graduates Magna Cum Laude

The University of the Philippines Alumni Association (Singapore) is proud to celebrate the graduation of Christine Nicole C. Milca who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Magna Cum Laude at University of the Philippines Cebu. The commencement exercises will be held on 29 July 2022.

She was the Secretary General of Kadugong Bol-anon (KadBol) UP Cebu Chapter, an organization of students from Bohol. She was also the radio host for DYUP, UP Cebu’s campus radio.

Nicole shared her thoughts below:

“Now that I am finally graduating, I have this feeling inside me that the things that I can do are limitless. I know that the professional field could be tough but I just want to enjoy and do something that makes me happy.”

“After graduation, I am planning to apply for work in Cebu. I want to be in the marketing/advertising field. I am also planning to try entering the field of journalism/broadcasting. I am lucky enough that the Communication degree is a very broad field so there will be plenty of opportunities for me to try out. Also, a part of me wants to pursue further studies so I am definitely going to go for that but not anytime soon.”

“As of now, I am just ecstatic that I am able to finally graduate, especially given the current circumstances. So much has happened within the last few years but I am just very thankful that UPAAS has always been there for me and with me throughout my journey as a college student.”
